Pharmaceutical Business Review sat down for an interview with AIFD General Secretary Ümit Dereli to discuss Biotechnology. Dereli highlighted 3 key points; Turkey must gain a strong competency in Biotechnology, aim to penetrate global markets, and in order to execute former two objectives high standards of legislative infrastructure (examples: FDA, EMA, WHO, ICH) must be achieved. Dereli also emphasized on TITCK’s firm steps towards becoming a global reference for medical authorities after TİTCK’s PIC/s and ICH memberships has been approved.
