TRANSFERS OF VALUE TO HEALTHCARE PROFESSIONALS
The Transfers of Values (ToVs) made by pharmaceutical companies during the calendar year 2019 to healthcare professionals (HCPs) and Healthcare Organisations (HCOs) were submitted, in line with the relevant TITCK Guideline, to TITCK system in June 2020. E&C SMC will continue to meticulously follow the technical and practical suggestions it made to TITCK to increase both the quality and the accuracy of the data flow during the 2020 data transfer in June 2021.
Compliance with AIFD Code of Practice, CPP
In 2020, promotions made by member firms continued to evolve from printed materials to electronic presentations in tablets. As a result, the number of complaints about breach of code in promotions significantly decreased.
As no case within its jurisdiction concerning prescription-only medicines was raised, there were no CPP meeting during 2020.
